Ranks are a single payment. There's no subscription and nothing renews — buy once and it's yours for as long as the server is up.
Mystic contains all of Epic, so if you buy Epic now and Mystic later, you don't lose anything. Mystic simply replaces it.
Rank perks are convenience and cosmetics. Nothing a rank gives you is unreachable by playing normally — it just saves you time.
